You are not expected to survive. You are not given much when you spawn in, however, it is better than nothing. A gun, some ammo, some food is all you have to work with to attempt to thrive. Many people who have joined have died - multiple times, before leaving. If you are a casual player, this isn't the right place for you. The server is heavily inspired by zombie games - quite particularly, Dying Light. Just like in Dying Light, zombies will start sprinting after you at night.
